Available in two premium models, the four-door 2008 CLS Class combines the sleek style of a two-door coupe with the convenience of a large sedan. Based on the Mercedes Benz car rental E Class Series, the CLS comes standard with several luxurious amenities but also offers several optional packages that enhance both styling and performance.

The standard CLS 550 is powered by a 5.5-liter V8 engine that produces 382 horsepower and 391 pound-feet of torque while the souped up CLS63 features an AMG-inspired 6.2-liter V8 engine that produces 507 horsepower. Standard features on the 550 include 18-inch wheels, a semi-active air suspension, a power tilt-telescoping steering column, 10-way power front seats with memory, leather upholstery, a sound system, a sunroof and four-zone climate control.

The CLS63 luxury car rental features all the same amenities as the 550 but offers some upgrades as well. From 19-inch wheels, comfortable heated front seats and a sports steering wheel to an upgraded leather upholstery package with Alcantara inserts, the 63 brings new meaning to the world extravagant.

And if all the standard features aren’t enough, each trim can be upgraded with luxurious packages. Limited-slip rear differentials, a speed governor increase, a track-calibrated suspension, upgraded brakes and upgraded wheels with carbon-fiber trim all enhance performance and style. Premium packages bring additional interior amenities to the table and provide Bluetooth capabilities, a power trunk closer, a navigation system, keyless ignition/engry and active bi-xenon headlamps.
